Such a nice way to use up those little scraps of fabulous fabrics we all have! Cheesy

Although, for this swap, I am hoping for a partner that would not mind getting a non-fabric house.. Cheesy  I am in an industrial mood...

Yeah, I prefer clay/metal/paper houses to fabric ones myself.

Awesome - I'm not a fabric craftster by any means.  My favourite thing to do with fabric - is cut it out in shapes and fabric glue it down.  Yeah, not a very good thing to do!

Ever since knickertwist did a tutorial on using rubber cement, I have been using it a lot to glue down fabrics...Cheesy

I found a few more pieces that I plan on using on my little house...amazing what you can find in the bottom of a desk drawer... Cheesy

Oooo...what's the link to the tutorial?  That sounds like a cheaper alternative to my fabric glue!  (Yes, I thank thee, my local dollar store for cheap rubba cement!)

Do not use too much on fabrics because it can bleed thru!  You only need to almost dry brush the fabric part as the glue works by bonding when the two surfaces meet!!  I love rubber cement for paper the most...

Ok, I'm caving! I'm in. This sounds lovely. Hope my partner doesn't mind en embroidered house from me. We just moved and all my craft stuff except embroidery is still packed away till Sept. (Long story, but basically, we're waiting for someone else to move out of our new house so we can get in.) I'd love to stitch up a little house though! I've been dying for new projects!
