This is just so precious! I adore her! And the hair! And the dress! And the eyes! My 5y/0 loves her too. We are big into archery (my 5 y/o shoots too) and when that movie came out we were just too excited. Consequently, she wants a Merida doll, lol! I haven't tried my hand at sewing dolls yet,  but this is pushing me in that direction. Thanks so much for sharing!

Oh thank you so much! I used to do archery as a kid as well and my dad is really into it, so between my past and Brave and The Hunger Games, I am itching to get back into it. I am glad I can help inspire you! I hope you try your hand at making dolls someday. Smiley

So insanely cute! Loved the movie and love your Merida!  Her hair is wonderful and you did a spectacular job recreating her and her hair!  I was amazed in the movie how wonderfully detailed her hair was, and it was computer generated.
I just absolutely LOVE the way you do your dolls faces. Merida's face is absolutely adorable and you captured her well. Great job! (LOVE ALL your dolls!)

I have a few skeins of Caron Simply Soft I would love to supply swap with anyone for other types of yarn, I am finding the yarn a tad hard to work with.
