So the other day, I was feeling real good, positively amazing, I would go so far as to say Awesome. So I made a piece of quillling about it.

I have been on a real geometric kick lately and love doing it with quilling so this is what I came up with.  Repeated Triangular shapes swirling around some "awesome".  Totally fun to make.

I was going for a kind of shattered glass, crystalline thing, but I kind of used that as a jumping off point as an idea and let the shapes kind of dictate what it would look like. Really neat stuff came out of it!

More juicy oddities and info about this on my blog blog blog:

I promise this isn't very hard. A good pair of tweezers and a very light grey design to glue to and you can't see any lines. The tweezers are necessary to pinch the paper exactly where you want to make a fold. I got a pair that goes straight up (instead of having a bevelled edge) and that helps get a nice crisp line as well. I will say it does take a bit of patience also. It's been really great to help teach myself to be calm, it is very relaxing .
