This could be one of my strangest posts yet, but did you know you can cut up a chicken so it looks like a “Leaping Frog?”
Well it was a new one for me.
The idea is to flatten your chicken so that it will cook more evenly, and the shape ends up looking like a frog. Gourmet magazine did a story about it in 2009 and I am just now hearing about it..

It really does look amazingly like a frog.  What a clever technique.  Do you think it would also work with turkey?  That is a bird that is really hard to cook evenly.

I don't see why not, except you would need an awfully large grill area. I think by Big Tex grill could handle it, but I know my oven is way to small.
