Removing Years-old Pebeo Vitrea off glass?

Has anyone tried removing Pebeo Vitrea off glass after having it on for years? I didn't bake it. Just sealed it with varnish (I think the stuff for outdoor furniture). I'd like to repaint it. Or is it SOL? Thanks.
