So I got struck with a case of knitters block after finishing my lace shawl. I know that I want to make a sweater... a specific sweater, but I only just ordered the yarn, so I have to wait. So I tried and tried to find something to make while waiting for my yarn to come. I looked at hat patterns, nothing inspired me (and I lurve to make hats), fingerless mitts (lurve making them, too) but I want to make my sweater, so nothing was jumping out at me.

So, in the meantime, my dog Martika slipped a disk in her neck, so once her excruciating pain subsided, she still needs constant watching to be sure she mainly rests for a few weeks, meaning I'm at home all day on my days off. So desperate for knitting (my hands were so bored!) I picked a mindless scarf pattern, and did my own thing with it and made this cowl.

Love it, and the color scheme. I hope Markita gets better soon.

Thanks!

Martika has one week left of being on strict rest, then I can ease up on her, but she's acting like her normal self, which makes me happy  Smiley

This is so cute. And it's great to know that your pup is almost all healed up now.
