I decided to make my aunt a zipper needled felted cat pin for her birthday.

1.  Since I cannot draw, first I found a picture of what I wanted online.  I then traced the picture onto a piece of paper.

2.  I then cut out the image and used it to trace onto a piece of fabric.

3.  I then cut off the fabric part of the zipper - just as close to the medal as possible.  I then put the fabric in a embroidery hoop and stitched the zipper on the fabric following the line I traced in the step before.

4.  Needle felt the insides of the zipper....stab, stab, stab!!

5.  I then cut out the cat with a little bit of a boarder.  The first one, I stitched down the excess onto the back...but this one I decided to just hot glue it.  It worked much better!

6.  Since the back was rather ugly, I trimmed another piece of fabric and hot glued it to the back.  I then glued a pin on.

That's it!  Nice easy project.
