As a confirmed embroidery addict I've wanted to try embroidered jewellry for a while and this is my first attempt- I used silk floss on linen and added a ladybird charm to the chain. It was for the Craftster insect swap. I think it is a bit wonky but was quite pleased for a first attempt! I just need to work out how to mount it without the linen getting skewed like it is at the top on this one- I'm thinking that a pendant that is more like a frame (where you mount the piece from the back) might be better?

I saw this in the gallery and love it! Cheesy
I wanted to make something similer but couldn't find the frame-bits anywhere!! Also wondering if you fused the linen- before or after stitching- at all? 'Cause if you fuse the heck out of it it may help to make it more stable... might add too much bulk though...  Undecided
But, yep- adore this! Great work all round on the package!  Cheesy

Thank you!
I got the pendant tray from here http://jasminstudiocrafts.com/   (I am in UK but they might ship internationally?)  I didn't fuse it- I guess you mean to fusible web/ interfacing? That might help, I just stitched it then trimmed it and wrapped it around a piece of white card cut to size and covered in double sided sticky tape. Will definitely try fusing it next time plan on doing another very soon!

Yes thats what I mean, an iron on fusing type thing. Might just keep it a bit stiller when you pop it in the frame- but I'm certainly no expert on the matter! Thank you so much for the link, I will look into it  Cheesy
