I think she came out quite cute- I love anthropomorphic animals, think I will be doing more of this type of animal 'portrait'

I saw the thumb nail of this and I thought "oh, that's lovely! Maybe I can do something like that." But then I opened it, and immediately thought "Nope, not that talented." It's wonderful and you have a very lucky swap partner. What stitches did you use?

I am not even a flamingo fan, but I love this piece!  I love anthropomorphic animals as well.  Especially if its Victorian or Edwardian.  I can't wait to see what else you come up with!!

Are those beads? Pretty!
yes there are pearly seed beads and a little crystal pendant
It's mostly back stitch peteyandrocco you could totally do something like this
