Oh, trust me, this puppy (no, that's not a hint) is scheduled for post office drop office in 45 minutes.

And I spent a portion of last night crafting a shipping "insert" that has cutouts for the two pieces (oooh, was that a hint?) to sit in and (we hope) not move during shipping.

I'm only waiting another 45 minutes because if I don't shower before going to the post office, they may refuse to serve me.  Cheesy

Grin oh, I was all scared something had happened to it, when I read about things dropping- so glad it was ok! Actually,  both the tin and the extra I made tipped over too and they came out fine - maybe it's all the wickedness inside that makes things fall over?  Grin

Don't forget, everyone: if you haven't sent, today's your big day! We need to hear from you; either that your package is in the mail, or that you're going to be late. Remember, communication is key! You may want to check the first page of the gallery to make sure your send status is correct and up to date.

Don't make us unleash some of these kids on you!

This is even more terrifying than the threat of the BIG VOICE!

Boy, KC, you really build 'em sturdy, if your tin can pass the "drop test". I'm one of those people who never trusts glue, so I tend to use screws, nails, bolts, wire, etc. to fasten bits together. (Also it makes it easier to change if you realize you've messed it up. Wink)

When I was in theatre school I had a prop building instructor who used to put our projects down on the floor and kick them to see if they were sturdy enough to survive real onstage use.  I guess that lesson has stuck with me.

I can see how that must be life changing, Wulf! From now on I will employ this method... unless of course I am working with fimo- but even that tends to survive an unkind handling sometimes. *off to kick my new bag now* Grin

Yay, this is fun!
