Hey everyone! I was complaining to my friend Tim about the fact that I love making altered tins but I hate buying Altoids. I find them pricey (mostly because i don't eat the contents). It also doesn't help that they now have raised lettering. He gave me this link to a website that sells glass bottles and tins and such at cheap prices, I thought I would share.

My list is utterly dull, flaccid and boring compared to you guys. As you know I hadn't intended to join, so I didn't put any time into thinking it up.

Dont worry Wulf, I found your list quite inspired and love the choices I was given!  I bought some supplies for the tin yesterday and now need to acquire some power tools so I can get started!  So that probably won't be any time soon, but I do know EXACTLY what I'm going to do!!!

Now hush! I'm going to be out of the country in early August, so I've got to work on mine when I can, which is now.

Totally OT, but please forgive me.

After six seven long years, I found my unfinished brownstone matchbox.  (see original thread here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=375768.0 ).

I was 99% certain that this piece had been accidentally tossed with some trash, never to be seen again.

Where did I find it? In the top drawer of the jeweler's bench where I work every day.  A drawer I've opened and closed about a gazillion times.  How did I, after all this time, find it today?  I lost something else in that same drawer (only I KNEW it was in the drawer) and ended up pulling the drawer all the way out of the bench.

And there in the far back corner, I saw it. I damn near wept.
