I started this project pretty much as soon as I finished the last of my celtic knot pillows. It will be shipped to my cousin, who just had her first baby.



Some of the knots are the same,

     

but I also designed 5 new ones. As with the others, these are also symetrical along both x- and y- axis and consist of only one continuous loop.

       


This time, I used a six stitch cable as the border instead of the four stitch one I used for the pillows.

The yarn is Lang Yarns Linosa. I had bought it in from the leftover binn of my LYS several years back for one Euro per skein. I used about 19 skeins, I think, worked on 4 mm needles.



I am really happy with the way this turned out.
