I don't remember what I was making when the praying mantis attacked.  I think I've blocked the trauma out!  Tongue Roll Eyes Wink

(And thanks for the compliments, everyone...*blushing*)

I think my partner got a little busy, so here are some photos of what I sent to her and her boys Smiley

mini_mum had pinned a few different birthday banner ideas for her boys. I made this one double sided so it didn't have to be against the wall once hung.

A little closeup so you can see the print.

A matching bag with a drawstring...it turned out rather large, but I thought it was cool that way.

A smaller drawstring bag.

And my most favorite thing for mini_mum was the thread catcher! I never made one, and the tutorial I found online made it super easy! The flat blue check part on top is the weighted part she needs to put the weights in. Also, you can't tell but there are slots sewn in and the bucket is removable.

I did!
Thank you for posting the pictures - I will post one of the thread catcher in action when I 'stuff' it Smiley

I LOVE everything I received. The bags for the boys are wonderful, as is the bunting and funnily enough we had found a selection of Pirate themed party bits (invites, party bags, table covers etc) very cheap (as in 10p each pack) in town a few days before the parcel arrived so guess the party theme for Miles in Feb! Grin

I have wanted a thread catcher FOREVER - I'm always having to pick up bits of thread, tiny fabric offcuts etc when I've been sewing or knitting, so hopefully this will help keep me a bit neater, and with the little pockets I might be able to find my scissors while I'm working too  Roll Eyes

Thank you raewolo, for my wonderful gifts, and organising a great swap.
