What a great little elf; he looks like the elf on the shelf guy. I love the little drumming soldier too, absolutely precious!

I thought he looked like an elf on the self guy too! Super cute package!

OMG! I love the elf!  Is that a pattern or did you make it up, thimbles71?
Those trees are very pretty - I love the fabric!

Thanks so much, ladies!  And I'm very happy that you enjoyed your package PurplePaisley.  I loved putting it together for you. Smiley

I think the elf was my favorite part, too.  I wanted him to be an ornament, but I think he's just a wee too big to be an ornament and several friends said that he looked like "elf on a shelf" too!  I created the pattern myself.  Smiley  I need to make one (or twelve!) for myself now.  Grin

I received the Christmas package from gotgrey.

Here is the group shot with all the goodies:

including:
Christmas lap quilt
Altered altoid box with the Holy Family inside
two bags of kids craft supplies, extra fabric
a snowman tin full of Christmas kitchen goodies: cookie cutters, potholders Smiley
cow mittens, toe socks, wind up toys, 8 feet of paper santa garland
photo ornament
another tin full of brass ornaments of the 12 Days of Christmas (I plan on using them to make a wreath)
painted reindeer hanging
four snowman placemats
star for the tree
three stockings
sock reindeer family
Bear fabric wall hanging
paint your own ornament kit and wooden reindeer
wooden bird and penguin ornaments
glass mice ornaments
tiny glass bumpkins elf figure

(not pictured because my son snagged it already included the penguin ball, penguin plushy, penguin wood ornament, and the angry bird coloring book)

Here is the bear hanging:

Here is a better picture of the quilt:

Here is a close up of the family of sock reindeer:

Here is a close up of some of the ornaments, the santa coasters, and the altered altoid box. The birds and the deer are painted by gotgrey. The nativity scene is made of clay with a fabric background.

And, my personal favorite

We talked about how we both like nativities and how I love seeing pictures of Mary pregnant.

Bailey let me take a quick picture of his penguin ornament

Gotgrey, I told you I was on an ornament making kick. I had a great time making everything, especially the salt dough and glass ball ornaments. I was so happy when I found those classic Pooh stamps at a yard sale this month.

Sorry one of the ornament balls broke. I knew I should have wrapped them individually instead of keeping them in the box.

I had those vintage Santa stamps for awhile and haven't really used them for years. Thought they needed a new owner Smiley
