Christmas in July (SO 08/04)

Because I'm a stupid head, I forgot to send a card w/my package.  I painted the Mary and Joseph painting, both wooden reindeer ornaments, all 3 bird ornaments, I made the lap quilt (my 1st time quilting) the quilted bear banner, all 3 sock reindeer, the clay nativity scene, and the foam ornaments for her boys to decorate.  The gingerbread men fabric, is actually a panel for making her own gingerbread men ornaments and a gingerbread men apron.  Robin mentioned liking funky socks, so hence the toe socks and the cow mittens.    I tried to include everything Robin said she liked.  I also tried to include stuff her boys liked, like the penguins.  I knew her oldest son would love that stuff.  I also included crafts, because I know she likes to craft w/her boys.  I'm so happy you liked everything Robin!  I'm glad Bailey liked the penguin stuff.  I thought of him specifically w/that stuff.

It's a Scandinavian tradition to put a bird on your Christmas tree.  Birds in your Christmas tree are supposed to be good luck.  I hope this Christmas is better than last, HelenaPuck.

Me too. And, I have a new star for the tree.

I should have taken better pictures of the quilt and the bear hanging. I need to iron them since the box was so packed with goodies. I really love them both and I love the drum stick hanger for the bear hanging. I used to play the drums. You did a really wonderful job quilting.

My youngest is already putting together some of the foam ornaments. Bailey didn't even give me time to put his goodies in the picture. He really loves the penguins and the angry bird coloring book.

I received from Miss Barbara yesterday and it was definitely Christmas in July at my house!  Be prepared - there are lots of pics of awesome stuff!

This is what I received last week. It's a Disney Christmas wall art frame.  I already wrapped this up and put it with my decorations!

Cute little gingerbread birdhouse for my mantle! Her 8 year old daughter found it!


2 great bags! I love the holiday lights lining the blue one, and the pink one is going to be one of my market bags!  The crochet is so perfectly done!


This cute little panda was in the little bag! He's now sitting at my desk at work!


Look - the box is still full!


Next there is this cute holiday frame, an organizer (I could use this for my swaps and crafting due dates!) and this little wallet with some holiday lights on it. (I don't carry a purse so this is perfect!)


Since I love my doggie, some magnets and an album.


I love Disney! This bank is so cute (perfect for Disney trip money) and pens!  I can always use Disney paper!

This totally awesome pillow! I love Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer - it's one of my holiday favorites!  And check out the beautiful crochet on the other side!



She wrote me a note is this adorable card!


Okay, last pic. This was also Christmas in July for my dog, as evidenced by this picture. He loves to shred wrapping paper (his favorite thing about Christmas!).
