Does anyone else have the obsessive urge to take your freshly bought yarns and immediately tear the label off anf turn it into a ball? Well, I do. And since I do have this annoying habit, I can't remember or keep track of which balls are what brand/material/color. I usually keep my labels, but unfortunately, I'm not super organized and tend to lose them easily. Anyway, to the question: Does anyone have an efficient way of labeling yarn BALLS?

I staple a portion of the label to the yarn end serving two purposes: identification and care instructions and finding the end easily

Sometimes I put the label inside the ball (do it as it's coming off the ball winder), but usually I create a new label by taping some extra paper to the yarn label so that it's long enough to reach around the outside of the ball (taping it closed).
