I wear this shirt volunteering. Before I resized it the sleeves hung past my elbows and it looked like a shapeless dress. It was to big to use the conventional method of simply sewing up the sides and under the sleeves. (Plus I would've lost the cuff thing if I'd just hemmed the sleeves.) I had to actually remove the sleeves and cut some of the shoulder off (using a T-shirt that fit for reference). It took longer but I'm pleased with the result, if you didn't know it used to be big you wouldn't know it was altered.

Great job. I typically prefer that method unless the shirt just needs to go in an inch or so. It takes forever and is more frusterating but the end result is worth it. You're right, your shirt looks like it was always intended to be in the smaller size. Smiley

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.
