I've found my camera (finally) and will be posting my own photos today.

By Friday, I'll leave the first batch of feedback for those folks who have sent and all of their partners have received.

Just a little under a week to go until send-outs! Let me know if you anticipate any problems.

And, somehow, plans were altered this weekend (I went to a fabulous craft fair in NH on Saturday, and when I got home on Sunday, 5 minutes after I walked in the door, a friend called and wanted to catch a movie that started in less than 30 minutes... and then we had dinner... and then I had to do homework...).

I did manage to remember to cut what I needed for my last set of note cards before I handed my cutting machine off to my sister. I'm glad I remembered, because otherwise, I'd be sending late!

After 1 more cup of coffee, I will:

A) Take pictures of the great stationery I received
B) Upload and post said pictures
C) Update sent/received status
D) Give first round of feedback
E) Finish my last set of note cards
F) Pack up the note cards for mailing


(And for other non-stationery swap items)

G) Make a Jack Skellington paper doll
H) Start Round 10 of the Granny's Daughters Swap
I) Write a letter and pack up some documents for mailing

(Depending on how long A-I takes)

J) Head to the post office

Busy day ahead of me! Maybe I can take the pictures while the coffee is brewing and post the pictures whilst I sip it

Finally the stars have aligned and I was able to A) Lay hands on the camera, B) Find where I tucked all of the stationery and C) Remember to take the photos in the daylight hours!

I received 3 sets of fantastic stationery from my partners!

First up, the adorable snails from gala_apples!



I love the color of the snails, too. Such a cheery green!

It's funny, I always think of using stamps for note cards, but really should think about using some for stationery as well. I have a half ton of stamps at the ready.


Next, a sweet set from Thimbles71!



I'm not usually a hearts & fairies kind of gal, but I just loved the way the hearts are all different and hang from the line and I do love to send dandelion seeds floating on the wind (and straight to my neighbor's yard ), so this stationery is actually right up my alley!

Thimbles, did you stamp the images or print them with the computer? They're perfect!

And, finally, a set that totally appeals to my geeky book-loving side! From Eiseldora, a LOTR themed set. I love the silhouette at the bottom, and thanks for including a couple of the ring cards, as well!



Instead of using my handwriting on these, I think I need to find an appropriately Elvish font and write the letters on the computer

Oh, everyone's stationary is so beautiful!

I've had my notecards done for a while now.  But, busy week, I just finished packaging them up.  I will be sending them today or tomorrow.  Most likely tomorrow when I go to town for the gym.

Here's the fabulous "snail mail" (btw- I love that pun) from gala_apples.



Since I was fond of both her cards and stationery, she generously sent me a half set of each.

I really love the snails on the envelopes. It would be a cute way to jazz up any letter you send, and possible get a chuckle at the post office.



The cards are utterly charming. I'm thinking I will have to hold off on sending one, just so I can keep it all to myself.



And here's the great stationery from SunnyDawn. Many of these are already set aside to be sent to specific people.



The stationery had these great nature stamps with a poem border. Who ever though recycled stationery could look so good.

And I don't know what it was about your package, but my cat freaking loved the paper. She couldn't stop sniffing it and trying to roll about on it.

Oh man, I almost signed up for this swap, but alas I didn't, and now I'm super jealous.  EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!  The snails are adorable, the magazine envelopes are awesome, the geekery cards are to die for (esp that LOTR silhouette- LOVE), and the dictionary set rocks.
