My last prayer flag from Smmarrt has arrived!  the fabrics she chose are gorgeous as is the  variegated thread she used to stitch around the edges.  I love all the nifty bits like the little doily on the back, the polka dot person, the button sunflower and most of all the sentiment of "Be Kind"

Rosie1981 is swamped with work and hasn't had time to post a photo of the flag I sent her, so I'll do so.



This wasn't one of the words on Rose's list - I just had the idea of incorporating something round into the middle of it, and it evolved into a dreamcatcher, which led to the text. It's a vintage linen handkerchief, cut down in size and dyed. The writing is done in puff paint.
