Prayer Flag Swap Gallery (send by Aug. 3 2012)

I received an awesome flag from Cinnamoon!  I will update with pics this afternoon!

I haven't updated with pictures because my camera batteries died!  I will buy some today!

All right, here I am finally with my wonderful flag from sparks! 

She blended a few of my themes/prayers (including dragons, hope, courage, shiny things, and "depression lies"...it's a very powerful flag!) into one very meaningful and very timely flag.   It is a dragon's eye peering out from the darkness.



The texture on it is incredible.  The scales are painted, sewn and embellished with wire, and the beadwork around the edges of the eye really looks like beautiful shining scales.  The part around the shiny button (?) pupil is crocheted.

I know my partner has had a hard time getting on the internet and after that getting it to work! So I hope Jen Sews doesn't mind, but I thought I would help her out and post a picture of the Prayer flag I made for her!

A couple of her words were Peace and Joy. So I found a Bible verse to incorporate in and found the button garden on her pinterest to make this flag.

Sparks, the dragon's eye flag is really amazing and dramatic.  I love the thought and creativity you put into it!

CraftyMamaBee, your peace flag is so pretty--the colors really appeal to me, and the button flowers too!  I'm sure Jen Sews loves it, I know I do!

here is my second prayer flag made by zuliblu. beautiful colors and little fringe and the center crochet piece is beautiful.
