liewe_heksie - Thank you! They are all hand sewn/embroidered. The only machine sewing is on the handles and the hems for the lining.  Smiley

Thank you guys! The Potter series is chock full of inspiration and I can't help but make more bags  Cheesy

(how do you make your braided handles, can i ask? are they fabric tubes or raw strips and how are you able to braid them SOOO long. i love them, too!)

susanab - The braids are made from raw strips of scrap fabric. I cut them about 1.5 - 2 inches wide and as long as the scrap is and then sew them together at the end, braid, and then sew at the other end. It's surprisingly sturdy and I like the scrappy look of them.
