but I'm not sure how many to go. This is for my sister, she saw it online a few months ago and emailed it to me under the subject "for Christmas"...we're known for subtlety in my family. I *kind of* stole him--I know, shame on me but there wasn't a pattern to purchase! And it's not like I'm selling it... Anyway, just a couple pictures. I just finished him, he hasn't been pressed or anything.

What a lovely little bird. I love everything about it. Especially the colors. And I love the stitching on the leaves. Great job!

Oh, that's very nice!

And I'm very impressed at your non-procrastination skills. I never have any holiday gifts until November.

It's bad enough wasting time, without killing it.

Thanks everyone!! ...and this is the very first year ever that I have actually started Christmas presents before Thanksgiving, I am usually a good idea getter but an even better procrastinator.

He is perfect! How are you going to finish him? Hoop? Frame? bag?

I steal online images for gifting/swapping all the time. If you aren't making money from it then who's to say anything?

This is really pretty!  Is it just to hang, or what is your sister planning to do with it?

I wish anyone in my life ever requested crafts; I would jump for joy!  Instead i just give unsolicited gifts and they have to pretend to be excited...

I am a product-oriented crafter and spend a lot of time on my items (believe it or not!)  I am interested in personal swaps with folks who have common interests and standards.  I love textiles, texture, and rugged-meets-vintage-meets-luxe.

Good for you!  This is a lovely piece, I heart me some birdies...love the stitching..love the blue background. I seriously need to jump on this Christmas train.  As soon as I get to settle down from this move we are in the middle of I am starting my Christmas projects! Thank you for the reminder  Wink

I have no idea what to do with it really!! My aunt suggested making it a wall hanging...I usually just leave things hooped (lazy). ...do you guys have any ideas??
