So I found this picture and cannot figure out what the actual "hoop" is made out of. I make hula hoops and have tons of  leftover tape that I have been trying to figure out what to do with. This seems cute and perfect for my hooper friends! Can anyone figure it out?? Suggestions are always welcome  Cheesy Thanks in advance.

it looks like it's made out of a copper ring of somesort.  a jewelry person might be able to give a more specific answer.    Tongue

Thanks for the responses! I went to local craft and hardware store today and they couldn't answer the question. Didn't have time to look around myself. The sling rings look like they can defiantly work, good idea!

To me it looks like a jump ring that was put though a zipper and the keyring part put in the other hole. You can get colored jump rings at various places. I think they are aluminum?

Just go back to the hardware store and look at what they have in their bulk bins. I don't think you need exactly what the original is made from - you just need a metal ring base and the hardware store is where you'll find it.
