When my inflatable pool got punctured after just one summer it seemed a shame to throw it away. I had an old bag that was falling apart so I salvaged the zipper and strap and created a new bag from the parts. I lined it with my favourite shirt that ripped last weekend and I'm really happy with the result Smiley

And I still have loooooads of the pool left to play with, so I plan to make a few more Smiley

Awesome idea! It looks so nice and summery. I love the details you put in like the bottom, binding and zipper.

I love it! I bet it keeps the rain out of anything you put in there too... Ingenious!

Thanks everyone. It's my 1st completed bag and I'm happy with the result. Now all my friends are giving me things to turn into bags for them Smiley

I love it! What a great idea to use that material for a bag. Is this really the first bag you sewed? Can't tell that ..you did a great job.

Thanks. It's the first complete bag that I have made yes. I've made a few others, but never finished them.
