Hi! My name is Lameka and I currently live in Rockville. We are moving to Columbia soon like August soon. I found this site because I was doing a search for local craft fairs so that I can go and sell what I enjoy doing. I am also interested in meeting other crafty individuals in the area as well. Could you point me in the right direction? Thanks!!! Smiley

Hi Lameka.  This comes quite late because I am new to this site.  If  interested in beading there is a group in Savage Mill, Savage, MD in Laurel off of Washington Blvd that gathers in Bead Soup.  The store offers beading classes and some freebies.  A very nice group of ladies.  Also, you may find other crafters in your area on Meetup.com.  I am also new to the beading scene; however, crochet and knit.  I have many other interests too.  Enjoy Columbia, I am sure that you have found it to be a very lovely area. I have seen that savage mill group - I love the papercrafting store there. I'm much too shy to approach Cheesy
