I"m on it.  Just give me a few nap-times' worth of time, and I'll have it.  Awesome pattern.  Just what I've been looking for, and great for cloth-diapered big butts!

Those are great! I love that they match but don't look the same!

If you try to make monkey pants here is an original Japanese pattern to work with:
http://handmadenokokoro.web.fc2.com/katagami/021.html (use google translator, allways works for me with Japanese websites)

What I like about the construction is that they don't need a front and back seam and the shaping is done with the insert. The pattern posted above still has four leg pieces plus the butt piece.

I plan on making some this weekend or next week.
