Is everyone doing just words or words and a pic?  I just can't decide!

I decided to go image + words as well for both hoops. I just felt like it was a bit bare without it as I hadn't planned the text to stand out well enough on it's own.

Just got back from the craft store, so now I have all my materials! Now I'm off to figure out my design and start stitching. Smiley

Done! Put in a couple hours tonight and my hoop for celticgoddess is ready to ship out on Monday. Wahooo!

And to answer Rubylynn's question, my hoop has an image and words. I thought it'd look too plain otherwise. Besides, this particular hoop HAD to have an image to go with the words.

My first hoop is... how shall I say, embellished? Around the word, not an image exactly but still. My second I probably won't add an image to, because I'm stuffing a lot of text into a small space and it's gonna be way too crowded if I do.

So I'm all prepared. I've perfected (erhm) my design. I'm ready to transfer it to fabric. And I realize... I have no fabric. I mean, I have tons of fabric, but I don't have THE fabric. Which is the same thing when it call comes down to it. So I'm hoping to find THE fabric tomorrow. (with the perpetual risk that the store has decided it's more about fancy clothes fabric and less about pure white fabric that can be used for embroidery...)

Just started stitching hoop #2 today and am super excited as I've wanted to do something along these lines forever!
I've seen it on a few different stitcheries and now I get to try it!
