So many senders! I guess I'm the only one having difficulty finding a wooden hoop? They seem to be out of stock in the Vegas area. I've checked Michael's and Joann's. Perhaps Walmart has them? The stores seem to have plenty of plastic hoops, but I'd really prefer a wooden one for this.

I'm new in my area and couldn't find any place other than walmart for hoops. Mine only had plastic. Sad Luckily they had colors that matched my projects, but I would have preferred wood too.

I used plastic hoops for mine. They match in a color blocking sort of way! I think it adds personality!

I have been to every craft/sewing store in my area looking for wooden hoops over the span of a month and have barely been able to find any. I hope they aren't getting rid of them or dialing back production, I don't like the plastic hoops, and I wouldn't want to display the majority of my pieces in one, I always like the make the frame match, and they only have so many plastic colors...

Man, satin stitching on curly-cues is hard, even harder when it's on seersucker fabric. It looks good, though, for the most part. Maybe I can smooth out some of these edges by outlining it.

Both of my partners' hoops are going to have surprises. I've already finished one hoop and just need my husband to do his part so I can finish it off. Hopefully this will work. The other one, well, like I said above: satin curlies. Ah! I was hoping to send by today but timing didn't go as I planned it. Maybe I can get one out this week but I'm pretty sure the other one will have to wait a few days for the _______ _____ to dry.

My HobLob has tons of wooden hoops, but they can be so expensive for how cheap they are. I have a friend who thrifts for her life so I told her to keep an eye out for me for hoops. I love old hoops! So much more personality.
