I've noticed those and they look nice with all the fresh goodies peeking behind the glass. I use the small jars as shakers/containers for my homemade vinegar and oil dressing which is much thinner.

This is such an awesome idea!  Perfectly portable and ready to take anywhere!  I can't wait to make them myself!

We're heading out to the lake for a sunset dinner Saturday night.  I think I'll make bigger jars and make them the main course for our guests.

I might be having a little too much fun with them. Grin

That is such an awesome idea. We always have a ton of those jars floating around, but it never even occurred to me to use them to pack a picnic, especially salad.
