BANG! KAPOW! Super Hero Pegs!

I've always wanted to make some peg people, and when I saw that texscrapper had it listed as one of her wishes in the OWS 83 swap, I KNEW I had to make 'em!  And why not make a set for my nephew for his upcoming birthday while I'm at it?  She had them pinned on her pinterest, and that blog was a great help for the style that I wanted to do.  So for some of the super heroes I used her ideas and for some I used designs of my own.

So, here is the whole lot of 'em!


Since I made two sets, it was easy to line 'em up to show each's front and back.  To make them, I used regular acrylic paints and then used Elmer's Painters black paint pen to mark the lines.  I'm so in love with my paint pens.  They are such a joy!  After everything was dried, I sprayed on two coats of sealer.

AND now I want to make MORE!  I was sad when I ran out of pegs, but my nephew's birthday isn't until August, so I have plenty of time to do more characters!  Weeee!

That's an AWESOME idea!  I was totally pondering that, too!  Perhaps I will next year for her birthday or even maybe christmas!  And maybe not even princess ones, but STAR WARS ones!  lol!  She wears r2d2 shoes and they are the only shoes she will wear.  She's 3 and she's already a little nerd.  ^_^
