I am in desperate need of some storage bins for my daughters changing table. I haven't been able to find any online or in stores for the odd dimensions that I need, so I've resigned myself to having to make them. I've seen the whole "turn a diaper box into a storage bin" thing on pinterest, but the dimensions still aren't right and cutting through the cardboard was a nightmare. So Im wondering if I can make my own box out of foam core and hot glue and then decoupage it with some pretty scrapbook paper. Or are there any other materials that would be better for what Im wanting? I need to be able to make it whatever size I want; it should be lightweight since it will be on a shelf, but sturdy so it can hold a few blankets. And it should be EASY, since I am not a great crafter...yet.  Wink Any ideas are appreciated! Thanks.  Smiley

foam core is pretty fragile, I don't think it would hold up well.  I'd probably cut down cardboard boxes (use a matte knife or Xacto knife and a straight edge, not scissors), then cover it with fabric before assembly.
