I want to try again with one of these methods once I've been to a hardware store to find something metal and circular to keep the clay circular.

I think these look fabulous, but if you want something metal and circular, have you checked out "fondant cutters" -- our local big chain craft store carries them (in the cake decorating section) and they come in a range of sizes (I'm not looking at my set at the moment, but I'd guess they range from 1/2" to 2").

You can mix oil paint with liquid fimo gel,that's amazing.I'm gonna try that,too

They look so yummy! Super expensive around here in the US, plus they don't taste right. :/  We love it when our UK swappers send them to us. ^.^ Along with Stroop Waffles from the Netherlands! :3

Yeah, the reason I'm trying a hardware store first is to keep costs down because from previous trips to hobbycraft etc they seem to be much to much out of price range. But I'll bear it in mind!
