So its been while since I've posted! Heck since i've even sewn! But a bout of insomnia brought this cute lil dress!! Sewed it in 3 and half hours, no pattern really, just plain old averaging. The pics were taken before I added on my clip to the top of the zip and fully ironed.

Enjoy!

aww beth lemme see if I could help u out,

for the top part i cut the four of it, because I wanted it lined..I  used a stretch cotton for the top, i made sure to use a sleeveless top to trace for the armhole. if you happen to have a one shoulder top laying around even better

stitched the straps, the side with the armhole and the other side i pinned to adjust, then cut off the excess and added my zip.

I cut the back and front pieces for the skirt, stitched the hems and stitched the sides together, leaving an inch at the top to fold over

between the top and the skirt is black elastic about a 2 inch band.  I sewed the elastic upside down on the outside of the top, therefore when u turn it over it looks neat and you see no thread/ stitches and vice versa with skirt, pleating it, to give it the nice bouncy-ish effect with my elastic and the end!
