I made this dress last week.
It took me about 20 minutes to draft and sew.  In retrospect, I shouldn't have serged it with white thread, but it's not too bad.  I did a double turned hem on the armhole, neckline and hem.

I used this tutorialhttp://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=376660.0 as inspiration to make it.  Instead of doing it all in one piece, I made it in 2 (my fabric wasn't wide or long enough to do one piece).  I traced a tank top I had, lengthened it and cut it in half to make a front and back pattern)  I got the fabric for $3.15 from the remnants bin at Fabricland (my favourite part of the store)

I've worn it a few times so far, and washed it, it still fits well and didn't shrink. despite not prewashing the fabric.  I have a few more dresses I want to make in this way, but I have to decide on what to do just yet.

Comments and Criticism welcome.
