I was wanting to do something bigger than what I had made till now, then I choosed a mario 1-up mushroom. Well, I didn't find any big mushroom pattern available, so I just made it and decided to share freely Grin
It's one of my first patterns, I hope everything is ok.



Big Mushroom Pattern

Materials
White, green or red worsted weight yarn
3.00 mm crochet hook
Small pieces of black  felt
stuffing (polyfill)
craft glue
tapestry needle
fabric paint (optional)

Size
With a 3.0m mm hook the size 5.9 inches; 15cm. Size can change if you use differents hooks and yarns.

Abbreviations
Rnd: round
st: stitch
sc: single crochet
inc: increase (crochet twice in same stitch)
dec: decrease (crochet two stitches together)

This work is all made in joined rounds.

Start with the main color choosen for the mushroom.

Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)
Rnd 2: inc in each sc around (12)
Rnd 3: sc in next sc, inc in next sc around (18)
Rnd 4: sc in next 2 sc, inc in next sc around (24)
Rnd 5: sc in next 3 sc, inc in next sc around (30)
Rnd 6: sc in next 4 sc, inc in next sc around (36)
Rnd 7: sc in next 5 sc, inc in next sc around (42)
Rnd 8: sc in next 7 sc, inc in next sc around (48)
Rnd 9: sc in next 8 sc, inc in next sc around (54)
Rnd 10: sc in next 9 sc, inc in next sc around (60)
Rnd 11: sc in each sc around (60)
Rnd 12: sc in next 10 sc, inc in next sc around (66)
Rnd 13: sc in next 11 sc, inc in next sc around (72)
Rnd 13-17: sc in each sc around (72)
Rnd 18: sc in next 10 sc, dec over next 2 sc (66)
Rnd 19: sc in each sc around (66)
Rnd 20: sc in next 9 sc, dec over next 2 sc (60)
Rnd 21: sc in next 8 sc, dec over next 2 sc (54)
Rnd 22: sc in next 7 sc, dec over next 2 sc (48)
Rnd 23: sc in next 6 sc, dec over next 2 sc (42)
Rnd 24: sc in next 5 sc, dec over next 2 sc (36)

Change for white yarn

Rnd 25: working on BACK LOOPS only for this round, sc in next 5 sc, in in next sc around (42)
Rnd 26-27: sc in each sc around (42)

Begin stuffing the mushroom and continue stuffing as you progress.

Rnd 28: sc in next 5 sc, dec over next 2 sc around (36)
Rnd 29: sc in next 4 sc, dec over next 2 sc around (30)
Rnd 30: working on BACK LOOPS only for this round, sc in next 3 sc, dec over next 2 sc around (24)
Rnd 31: sc in next 2 sc, dec over next 2 sc (18)
Rnd 32: sc in next sc, dec over next 2 sc (12)
Rnd 33: dec over next two sc around around (6)
Fasten off, weave tail through final stitches to close the hole and hide the rest inside the mushroom.

Spots (make 5)

With white yarn

Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)
Rnd 2: inc in each sc around (12)
Rnd 3: sc in next sc, inc in next sc around (18)
Rnd 4: sc in next 2 sc, inc in next sc around (24)
Rnd 5: sc in next 3 sc, inc in next sc around (30)
Rnd 6: sc in next 4 sc, inc in next sc around (36)
Fasten Off, leave a long tail for sew.

Sew four spots to mushroom between rnds 12 and 23. Then sew one on the top.
 

Eyes
Cut two oval pieces of black felt and glue on the mushroom, if you want, use the fabric paint to make two dots on the eyes.
