I bought this for $3 from a thrift store.
It was gonna be a tv stand for my older son, but I found a tv stand for him and I needed a piece of furniture in my baby's room after getting rid of his changing table.
This is perfect for his room.

Great find. I liked that you kept the original handles.

I am so jealous of people who can find cheap furniture with good bones at the thrift store! Seems like every time I go there's nothing that great... but anyway, I love what you ended up doing! I like how you were inventive with how to deal with the missing draw handle, very nice! Smiley

Thank you for the comments. This was actually outside the store, like they almost wanted to give it away for free. The missing handle was in the drawer (by the time I was done painting I could not find it) but the bottom drawer needed work that's why I didn't use it. I LOVE how the original handles look.

Terrific redo.  What did you do with those two lower drawers?

It looks like 2 but it was just one big drawer.. I haven't done anything with it, it's still in my garage.

Terrific redo.  What did you do with those two lower drawers?

3 bucks, are you kidding me?!?!?  I'm so jealous, there's only one thrift store in my entire city and the choices are pretty low quality/high price.

That dresser had great bones.  I love what you did with it, it now looks brand new.

Great redo! In case you're looking for an idea on that drawer, I've been seeing  A LOT of drawers done up pretty and then hung on the wall as a storage piece or to display neat stuff. Doing that with the drawer could add even more bang for your buck. Ooo, maybe put some cork on the inside back so you have a place to pin up the upcoming pictures your little one will make! :-)

Great job, thanks for sharing and inspiring.
