I was in desperate need of some cheap Halloween decorations for a party coming up. I found a bunch of votive candle holders and pillar candle bases at the thrift store.

Stacking the votives on top of the candle bases and a little hot glue (to keep them sturdy when the dog bumps into the coffee table)

Then a quick coat of spray paint:

Awesome DIY Halloween candle holders! Thanks!

AWESOME idea! Love this!  I would probably use E6000 or something instead of hot glue- I would be worried that a burning candle would melt my glue.  pinned!

What a great idea!!  I'm doing that next year!  I look at the cool Halloween candles every year in the stores and always walk away empty handed due to no money!! Thanks for sharing!

Awesome idea, I love repurposing thrift store junk. I make candles and so this idea really caught my eye. Thanks for a brilliant repurposing idea
