purple refridgerator

Hi, I've lurked around for awhile and posted minorly every now and then, but my roommate and I just painted our fridge this weekend, and I decided to share



The fridge was really cheap and refurbished from a ghetto store, but it needed a face lift.  We first painted 2 or 3 coats of acrylic-based primer and then three coats of latex based paint.  I think it brightens up our otherwise dull apartment.

I hope this inspires others to paint appliances!

that fride is very cute! i wish i could paint mine.. but i dont think the apartment people would be too happy  i guess cool magnets will have to work for now

I about fell over in my chair when I saw your fridge!  I've been trying to think of something to add some fun to my otherwise boring kitchen and your purple refridgerator is wonderful!

That is so cool. Getting rid of the boring white. It's such a great idea and a fine colour.

holy cheese! I was definitly considering painting my new mini- fridge hot pink but i was scared that the paint would come off if the fridge sweated...
