Been dying to make one of these for a long time.
I've got a slight creepy obsession with tentacles, why? I'm not entirely sure.
So i grabbed my clay, a tunnel and made a stretcher as close to the gauge side that i could.
Turned out not too bad for a first attempt, excuse the dirt, i was too excited to test it out and accidentally dropped it..
Considering making some fake-gauged ones too. All my other bits and pieces are scattered about Craftster and facebook if anyone wishes too have a wee snoop.

All ideas and requests are welcome, would love to give some new ideas a shot Smiley

* Just a wee warning for folks, polymer clay isn't the safest material for jewellery, most places advice against, i wear mines through silicon plugs at the moment so it's not directly on my skin. All my pieces are given a thick layer of gloss as well, to help seal the clay (and in some cases colour) in.

Super cool!  Love the tentacle look and the rainbow suckers!  Wish I had ones like that when I had my ears gauged.

Bubbles create rainbows through positive interference.

Tentacles give me the shivers, but i think the rainbow is enough to make me forget to be grossed out. Smiley I think they look so cool!

Hehe thank you, they're a little misshapen as this was my first attempt.
Hopefully there will be some more new neat ones in the near future!

Going to be whipping up a few fake gauges, as my sister is dying for one.
Will post them asap ^_^

this is a very nice piece of work, but polymer clay jewelry is very extremely unhealthy for your ears!!

plus, if the jewelry isn't perfectly round it can really damage your lobe. i really suggest not putting these in your ears! Sad the clay really shouldn't touch your skin directly.

Aw thank you so much for the advice, The link was really informative i will pass it along to others.
I had already read up on it before making the piece.
Because of this it is barely ever worn Smiley
