This just popped in my head. If I made some of my goodies (treats as in food) home made and send them Sept. 30th, they sit in the box until Oct. 19th. Hmmm That doesn't sound like a good idea. What's everyone else doing about that?

you could always write a note telling them to open them before then so they dont go bad...i dont think im sending homemade goodies so i wont have to worry about them going bad

I sent store bought goodies according to my partner's wish. You could send them in a separate package or let your partner open it sooner.

Interrobam you have no idea how tempting it is to have my parcel and not be able to open it!!! Now I want to open it even more...

Muahaha! All part of my wicked Halloween plan.  Wink

Hm, I got store bought candy and made a type of candy that can keep for a really long time, specifically because of the delay. You could always pack them in a special parcel as an early Halloween treat? Or put a note to refrigerate/freeze the package they're in as soon as they arrive, depending on what you're making.

Spent 3 hrs wrapping and tagging, that includes fixing items in seperate boxes or containers, no touchy touchy or feely feely going on when these boxes arrive.  Plans are tomorrow after work to figure out how to use bigger boxes to pack for shipping!

Then hoping to get it all mailed on Thursday!!

OH some good news. I ordered some "board game" flat rate boxes because my local PO didn't have them and one of my items wouldn't fit in any of the other boxes. Anyway, it fits!! I am going to be shipping 2 boxes. I think one day is going to fill this one box. *happy dance*
