I'm just checking in since I haven't in awhile!  I'm making good progress!  I had a very successful evening.  And am super happy with some of my current projects.  I think I have four days completely done and another two well on their way to be done.  It's supposed to be gray and rainy all weekend, which is perfect for crafting!

I think I have 2 days left to do. And than I have to make my container to hold my goodies. Well it is not exactly a container. But it is super cool

Oh, I'm so jealous! I thought I had the best idea for the container, but I couldn't find the supplies. I need an idea, in my sleep or awake I don't mind, as long as it's a great idea.

I am looking for 6" and 8" squares of different red, green, white, and gold fabrics to complete a Christmas quilt.  Does not need to be Christmas fabric per se.

My understanding is that the container is the gift for the first day, right?

no the container or bag is kinda extra...you make something to hold all 13 days of crafts.

The rules say -The first item to be opened (on October 19th) will be a container/bag of some sort that holds the other items. You can either make a container/ bag from scratch, or decorate one, your choice.

In the past, the container I've both sent and received didn't hold everything (the other 12 items), but it was the first thing we opened.

This is what I was planning on.
