I spent all morning working on a craft, and it looks like a school project! Not a bad one, but a brainy one, not a crafty one. I have new ideas and I will redo it. I hope it turns out better next time.

I also discovered why the black cats are for witches. It's because the cats couldn't stand the humiliation of being rainbow colored, especially the big laughs from the birds. I have the proof.

Because they were thought to be the familiars of Witches
I agree with this and the Celtic tales mixing together.
I may lose internet for about a week.If you don't hear from me I am NOT flaking.Still working and even finished another project.

Not sure about the cats, but everyone else seems to have good suggestions.

I'm further behind than I'd care to be, but 'tis the season for academic job interviews, so that's my excuse. But I plan to use Sunday afternoon for a craftstravaganza!

Hm, not sure about the cats, though not surprised that people have wondered if they're shape shifted humans - there always seems to be human-level intelligence in those eyes. Well, of most cats. I've met a few that weren't the brightest bulbs. Sweet as anything, but not so bright. Sigh. I need a cat.

Last few days have been too busy to craft, but I do have one of my newer items hanging up to check proportions and all and think I'll have to make one for myself because it looks really good. Smiley It was one of the easier ones, too, which always feels halfway between finding a clever new route to work and cheating. I have another one that's more work but I'm really loving it. Plus did a few little quick ones that turned out ... well, not amazing but good enough to throw in as extras. I really need to lay out everything and do an inventory and plan out my next step.

I like people's answers to the trivia questions. I have had a crazy summer and have not had time to sit down and start crafting, I am still at the purchasing and brainstorming stage. My partner is crazy organized and I received my parcel in the mail last week. Smiley

Bought supplies for another item today and started it.  Need to get more fabric for a project I'm in the middle of.  I have 3 things half done and 2 more to start and treats to buy and then I will be done.  Hoping to send early-ish.
