Because the pumpkin had it coming!  Wink Cheesy
Great answer made me laugh so hard. I have been home in bed sick for 2 days and this answer put a big smile on my face.

I agree with everybody.
As for getting moldy, mine even got moldy on the vine and the next day, there were none. This year, I didn't bother trying to grow them. I will go to the pumpkin patch, it's more fun and less work anyway.

Would you carve this one?

Hey all, I am leaving for Hawaii tonight so I wanted to just drop in to let you know that I didn't vanish.

I will be back in action on 8/27 and hopefully no one else will have sent! Haha

Holy wowza, I can't believe someone sent out already! I really want to send wicked early, too, but I'm waiting for fall candy to debut on the shelves before I can do so. Waiting is hard work!

Also- I can't believe that I missed the sent out post, it happened four days ago! Sometimes I miss things in really active threads. Sorry for my tardiness!

Because it's an excuse for more pumpkin pie!  Grin

Fantastic crafty day today. Discovered the wonders of ModPodge (how have I gone this long without knowing how awesome it is?) and did my best to find as many applications as possible. A previous experiment I'd tried on a whim turned out to be the perfect pair with a scrap I had left over from this experiment and it's, perhaps, one of my top five favorite things I've ever made. Gotta love it when that happens. Smiley My husband was sad when he found out it was for the swap and not for him. Don't feel too bad for him - his birthday is coming up and now I know what to make for him!

Tomorrow I should have a little time in the evening and at that point I have some shrinky dink sheets that're begging for their own series of experiments. I don't think I'm giving away too much to my partner as I haven't yet said what I'm doing with it ... partially because I don't know myself. That's why I'm experimenting!

Home Depot is my happy place.
