So... I'm having entirely too much with this swap. I would love to send super duper early, because the crafted stuff is coming along well, but I'm anxiously awaiting Halloween candy and other goodies for spoilage. Every year, I lament that stores are doing holidays way too early, but this year, bring it on!

I've been gathering the non-Halloween supplies, and Joann's just put out Halloween fabric last week so I have that too. Still need to grab a thing or two to have everything I need. I haven't started crafting yet because we have been moving into a new place, but as soon as the craft room has some free table space, I will knock everything out pretty quick I think. Also - about to send a message to my partner to get some info for a couple of the ideas I have. Smiley

I agree about being confused (nothing new).  Sounds like the answer will be posted next week, but I did google it to confirm what I thought the answer was.  I think this is PP's post to mark and make sure everyone is posting weekly.

i think you're meant to say what you think the answer is, to keep conversation going and to make sure everyone is still around. I think "halloween" came from the term "all hallows eve" way back when.

Ive already made two things for my partner, which will probably just be one day since they didnt take as long as i thought they would to make.

yes, just post your answers in this thread. I will supply you with the answer next week when I post a new trivia question. And yep it is just to keep everyone checking in at least once a week. So we know you have not been buried in all of your Halloween crafts.

I also believe :Halloween" Came from :All Hallows Eve" the one night a year the spirits and the dead to rise from their graves and walk the earth Smiley

i have made one thing thus far Sad I'm having issues at the moment with getting supplies cuz these nasty things called "Bills" keep taking all my money....

If you can walk you can dance; If you can talk you can sing

I beg to differ. As you know, Halloween is a very old celebration. It used to happen in an eery castle in the land of the Celts. Every year, on a special night, the smartest, strongest, kindest witches, sorcerers, ghosts, zombies, vampires, simple mortals, animals even, would meet in the numerous room of this castle to compete. The winner of the challenges would then be awarded a shiny huge trophy during a special feast and be adored by all the inhabitants of the Celtic lands for the whole year. The huge room where the feast happened was called the Hall of win.
