Semi-felted felt badges - Cheshire Cat and Narwhal

I made these two badges for BunnieBoo in the Felt Badge Swap R2.

We are both fans of Alice in wonderland, and I really like the new color scheme that Tim Burton gave the Cheshire Cat (I don't really care for Disney's original pink Cheshire), so I went with him stealing the Mad Hatter's hat!



The gray and purple sections were needle-felted onto the purple felt, while the rest was made/attached in the more traditional felt badge ways.

She also listed whales on her favorites and had a cute narwhal on her pinterest that I just had to try:



All of the colors were needle felted or embroidered onto pre-made blue felt pieces.

These are both great. I love the details in the kitty and the happy face on the narwhal! Sooo cute.
