Put a Bird On It! Swap - Send out Friday July 27th

The feather brooch is beautiful. I love the pigeon and kiwi tshirts, and the owl purse and chicken pouch.  Plus what an amazing selection of bird print fabrics in this swap!

And most of all I love the action shot with the cockatoo!

My partner, adrienne_bowers, recieved from me last week and gave me the go ahead to post pics of what I sent her.   So, here they are:

First, a bluebird hoop.    Its a 7in hoop and stitched on printed cotton.   This was my first time using french knots and lazy daisies!




Next, an owl necklace.   Its about 26in long,




Then, a bird nest ring.





Some owl earrings. 




A little owl stuffie.   I was aiming to make him ornament sized.   He was my first stuffie.  Yellow and grey was one of Adrienne's favorite color combos.





And, all the store bought goodies.   There is an owl tin I found in a thrift store, two packs of bird stickers, a pocket notebook, a magnetic notepad, a 2013 datebook (I put the swallow on it), and a big swallow magnet.




Bonus pic of owl necklace just because I liked  the way I packaged it.   




It was a great swap for me.   I hope adrienne_bowers enjoyed her items as much as I enjoy mine!

Here's a better angle of the quilt I made Onyxnox for this swap.



The background fabric is navy blue with black dots all over it and the white and light blue fabrics have tree/leaf patterns to it.

The Navy has kept me busy the past week with extra duty and PT tests, but when I finally got to check the gallery again I was pleasantly surprised with all the new lovelies!

If I were not on this blasted island, you best believe that chicken pouch would be in danger as I would most def steal it. I love that the fabric for the body is like the wire for a chicken coop.

The kiwi shirt is so clever and cute!!

I so want a birds nest pendant. It is absolutely lovely as a ring as well.
