Purple hair don't care!

So, I have cross stitched plenty, but had never embroidered anything. I thought it was pretty much the same....I was wrong - it's SOOOO much harder! This is my first completed embroidered item and I am SOOOO proud of it! I used the pattern from Stitcher's Revolution called Rock - n - Roll. I didn't like the size, so I resized it via a scanner and then traced it onto my handkerchief. I knew I wanted to be more fancy than just doing the outline....so this is what i came up with. It took FOREVER! but when all is said and done, I like how the shading turned out and even though the red metallic thread was a pain, I think it adds a nice touch.

Your grading of the thread really brings that microphone to life, it's fantastic.

Look twice, buy once. Nooooo
Look twice, decide I can make one instead.

Thank you. I know it's not perfect, and the stitches aren't too uniform...I am probably silly to be so proud of it when I see all the amazing crafts everyone is making Wink but baby steps right? Smiley
