I think the US post office only provides minimal info...departure and arrival

not always, there's been a few times when I've seen when it's received at the different post offices. USPS-Priority-mail does give more info though (I sent this one first class, it wasn't heavy enough for priority mail). UPS gives a lot of info too.

I guess it depends on how many post offices it has to go through...I know I saw my local post office and then the big distribution center in our area...but nothing else since yesterday.. Sad...it will get there soon enough, but I always get anxious it will get lost! Sad

I have seen people improve and expand their vision when they are inspired by others...and, it is great when people share techniques as well...we all learn a few things each swap...I see people developing a unique style...I see better attention to details...new use of medium...making art when no one is criticizing or judging you is so nice...can you tell I love Craftster? Cheesy

The guy at the post office told me that Priority Mail is the only one that gives details throughout the transit and that 1st Class just gives you the final delivery information.  I thought that was good info to know.  I just thought that sometimes they were lazy. Smiley

That is what I was told as well...I rarely use priority mail anymore because it seems that unless I am sending to the west coast, everything I mail gets there in two days anyway...I hope that is true of my little art piece.. Cheesy
