Crafting to keep insanity at bay.

I was just admiring all the incredibly detailed, intricate awesome items swapped in the most recent round of OTT Harry Potter Swap and thought wouldn't it be awesome to do a swap like that, but open to any subject matter that one can dream of. Sort of like the Be Awesome Swap where you send one thing that you're really really good at making but now it has to be contained to 4x4x4 - an extra little challenge. I'm thinking people could list 5 themes for their partner to choose from. Crafting time would be, let's say 5 weeks? Plenty of time to make something phenomenal for your partner.

Thoughts? I'm pretty open to getting this started whenever if people are interested.

I love the OTT swaps, it is amazing what people come up with in such tiny packages.  I would be interested in joining this one.

I just edited the first post, forgot to discuss crafting time. I'd say 5 weeks would be plenty of time. Thoughts?

Sounds exactly like the original OTT swaps - the last one was round 23 back in 2010 (here's a link to it: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=333977.0 )  I'd love to see it revived again and would gladly join except my swap plate is full at the moment.

I'd be interested, I only do smaller swaps because of the time and cost involved in bigger ones.

I like the idea of this one!  We don't have too much extra space, but I love swaps!

Awesome! Does 5 weeks sound like a good crafting time? I could get the swap up and running soon, and have send outs end of August?

5 weeks sounds good, it's long enough to make something really nice
