I thought it would be fun to combine some screen printing with embroidery and this is the result!



I used a mixture of techniques - split stitch, french knots and satin stitch.



know i need to work on keeping my satin stitches neater  Embarrassed



My fav bit is the french knot craters



would love some feedback as I'm still new to this embrodery game Smiley

No tips here, I am not a good embroider myself!

Just wanted to compliment you! It is a good idea and I like the result.
This way you create texture, which makes it very interesting and more exciting!


And I think your stitching and embroidery looks fine  Cheesy

I saw your sneak peek on your blog and the final project is so much cooler! I actually was envying your satin stitch, I thought it looked rather neat  Cheesy I need to make some more screens to do more silkscreening!

It looks awesome!  Love the original fabric you chose and I love the amount of embroidery you did.  The satin stitch looks good from these pictures.
